Question till tapping

To all loss prevention personal, a question.

Is there anybody that would be interested in viewing a cash tray that helps stop till tapping.

I would like to plan a trip to the states but would like to see if there is any interest first.

I'd think any tool that's helps us do our job would be, at least, worth hearing about. How does it work?

till tapping

Our cash tray is fitted with sprung loaded plates that cover all the bills, Making it very difficult for that quick till tap. The plates actually place downward pressure on the bills which also help when counting the bills through a counting machine.

Have read on the internet that two Walgreens and a Pick n save had till taps.

This product has been in use in Australia for over ten years at K-Mart, safeway, Woolworths, Target, Coles, ect. Also have letters of recommendation ,It replaces IBM trays.

The product can be viewed at notepress

If anybody is interested I am willing to visit and discuss.

All the best.
Butcher.

I've found that the IBM's weakness is access to the drawer itself, not the spring-loaded arms that hold the money down. If you have something that makes it more difficult to pop the drawer I might be more interested.

How does the check-out person get cash from the tray without opening the register ? ( this is when a till tap will occur)

Are you referring to ways to prevent cash theft by an employee....because till-taps define a lot more than just a cashier skimming cash. ...and, IBM has already resolved my issues, so I have no use for any springy cash drawer thingys....sorry.

No, I am talking about a customer paying for a small purchase and when the cashier opens the cash register the customer grabs a hand full of cash from the cash tray.

Thankyou for your comments, Please feel free to contact me if you have a problem in the future.
