Return Policies

Let's discuss Return Policies...

What is your companies return policy?
- What is your companies Return Policy with receipt?
- What is your companies Return Policy without receipt?

Does your company use or have a return authorization program?
Does your company utilize the corporate office to issue the return? i.e. Mail Check, Mailed Refund, Mailed Credit, etc...

Do you have a unique return program that truly stands out from the rest of the industry?

I'm interested to see what's out there...

Return Policy

Customer has 90 Days with a receipt.
Without a receipt and if the product is still available a Store Credit may be issued for the lowest price in the last 30 Days.

Mailed Refund program is in place. Used at management discretion and each issuance reviewed by Coporate Loss Prevention.

Drivers License # and Customer Phone # are used to track activity electronically, both positive and negative.

Return Authorization/Verification is in the process of being deployed.

We take back any items that the store sells and give gift cards for customers without receipts. Without a receipt, they get credit for an item at the current selling price. We can look up receipts for customers by their loyalty card, credit card or checking account. We usually use the loyalty card number and can pull up receipts for up to three years.

The computer at the service desk has a screen that looks like this.

Item UPC:
Customer Loyalty Card #
Current or Previous Period:

We find that fraudulent returns are a small part of our business and we will make sure that the customer is satisfied.
