FMI 2003 Loss Prevention Conference
My first FMI conference was an experience. I met people from all over the country with diverse backgrounds. I met people from the grocery industry, including a couple of people from the super centers, criminalists, psychologists, consultants, governmental people, as well as some vendors who were impressive. I ended up staying for the entire week. The opinions of different services and procedures were as varied as the companies represented there (much the same as the varied opinions on RetailSpy). The information on ORT and legislative bills are extremely interesting. I will be sharing some of the information (with permission of course) received at the conference shortly.
